Beasiswa Luar Negeri International Postgraduate Scholarships, Liverpool Hope University, UK


International Postgraduate Scholarships are available to postgraduate degree applicants and are worth half the tuition fees (e.g. 50% discount on fees, for 2012/13 intake this amounts to between £2,950 and £5,090). The number of International Postgraduate Scholarships available annually is five. International Postgraduate Scholarships are awarded by the decision of the University Committee and are based on academic merit and social and community involvement.
Criteria
Applications are welcome from international students who have achieved high results in their final degree classification and can demonstrate high academic achievement, active university, society and community involvement, and future aspirations to enhance the social and economic development of the applicants home country.
How applications for the International Postgraduate Scholarships are judged
International Postgraduate Scholarship applications are awarded on submission of the International Scholarship Application Form and relevant supporting documentation. The applications are reviewed in the month after the deadline by the Liverpool Hope University Student Finance Committee.
Applications should demonstrate how you have actively contributed to the life of your previous university, how you are actively involved in your community and your society, and how you will contribute to the future social and economic development of your home country, plus how you will contribute to university life at Liverpool Hope.
How to apply
Applicants must hold an offer of admission for a Liverpool Hope postgraduate taught degree programme and complete the International Scholarship Application Form with attached documentation (eg copy of final degree certificate and academic reference).
If you do not hold an offer of admission you are not eligible.

Beasiswa Luar Negeri Halliburton Undergraduate Scholarships, University of Aberdeen, UK


Halliburton, one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the energy industry, is offering two Halliburton Undergraduate Scholarships.
Description
Halliburton will award one Specialist Engineering Scholarship and one Specialist Geology and Petroleum Geology Scholarship. The successful applicants will each receive £2,000 per annum for either two or three years as determined by programme classification, year of award and date of graduation.
In addition to the financial support, the Halliburton Undergraduate Scholarships offer:

Beasiswa International Doctoral Scholarships in Engineering, Kochi University of Technology, Japan


The Special Scholarship Program (SSP) was established in year 2003 in order to support the advancedresearch of the university by enlisting the help of highly capable students especially students from foreign countries. Every year in April and October, the university enrolls selected doctoral students for specific research projects. The students pursue the doctoral course in English (excl. Japanese students) while at the same time assisting their host professor as a research assistant (RA). Through this program KUT wishes to expand and deepen international ties with academic and educational institutions all over the world.

SCHOLARSHIP TERM One year
*The term will be extended for increments of one year up to a total of three years, unless the university terminates the SSP student status for any of the reasons stated in paragraph 12 below, Termination of SSP Student Status.
OBLIGATIONS
  1. The SSP student must work as a research assistant in a specific research project. However, the total paid working hour per week for students with “Student” status of Japanese redidence, should not exceed 28 hours per week.
  2. The SSP student must report his/her study and research achievements to the dean of the Graduate School of Engineering at the end of each semester. The submitted reports will be evaluated.
BENEFITS
  1. International applicants are exempted from 300,000 yen of enrollment fee.
  2. Tuition of 535,800 yen (per year) will be exempted.
  3. 240,000 yen per year as a SSP Scholarship upon application.
  4. Up to 960,000 yen per year for working as a research assistant.
  5. 200,000 yen for travel and initial living costs. (given only to foreign students who are living outside Japan, and who have, or have the intention to acquire, “Student” status of Japanese residence at the time of entry into Japan)
